"Scientific Stuff" - homosexual slur during Faith No More video (?)

I was wondering if anybody remembers the "Scientific Stuff" episode. Something was pointed out to me when I first saw it. Specifically, at the end of the "Epic" video, Beavis says something about hoping the piano explodes (while the band member is playing the piano and the fish is writhing around, etc.), which Butthead follows up with "... fairies grant wishes." Beavis then tells him to shut up. Apparently (I am no Faith No More fan), the person playing the piano had recently come out. Was this a cheap dig at him? I remember his words very precisely.

Does anyone remember this? I'd appreciate it if people who have tapes of this episode could check it out. What do you think?

Beavis says he wishes the piano would blow up. The piano _does_ blow up. Butt-Head points out fairies grant wishes. Ergo, Beavis is a fairy, since he made his wish come true. Thus, Beavis yells at Butt-Head to shut up, since Butt-Head was insulting him. It has nothing to do with the sexual orientation of anyone in the video.

The keyboard player of Faith No More, I think his name is like Roddy Bottum or something, (I said bottom, uh-uhuhuhh) is a gay. And he has come out of the closet and stuff. So I think that Butt-head was pretty clever and stuff to come up with this cheap dig.
