I have a new theory: maybe MTV took B&B off because this would make more people to go see the movie since they can't see B&B on TV.
By the same coincidence, Paramount took Star Trek Next Generation off of TV just before they released First Contact.
In other words, why go see the movie when you can see it on TV for free?
Maybe B&B will be back on MTV after the movie has finished its run???
My TV Guide thingy.. huhuh huhuh thingy... sez that Beavis & Butthead is on a half hour earlier than the previous weeks.. 7:30pm early show, 11:30pm late show.. in my time zone, whatever the heck that is.. pacific or mountain or something..

It's been explained before. Mike Judge wanted to get his mind off the TV show and work on the movie and promos for the movie, so he stopped making new episodes. They also wanted to make more room for new fall specials, etc. on MTV air time.
