Here's the latest I have about the show from the last few weeks:

A new commercial for the movie appeared during Monday's (11/11) Beavis and Butt-Head show. This one was a riot! Beavis and Butt-Head were standing against a blue screen laughing hysterically. A voice off to the side yelled "Enough already!" The camera panned backed and it was none other than Mike Judge himself giving direction! He sighed and said "OK, for the 400th time, we are going to try again. You will begin when I give the word." Butt-Head says "And what word would that be?". Mike says "Action!". The boys begin laughing again, while Mike just slumps down in his directors charir. I hope you get a chance to see this, I was literally laughing for 5 minutes after I saw it.
Beavis and Butt-Head "Do Christmas" was released last week. I got it at Musicland for $12.99 along with a free cell animation from the Christmas show.
The soundtrack from the movie was released this week. I haven't bought it yet, but it contains the same variety of artists as "The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience" did. The last track is a song by Englebert Humperdick!
While at the dentist, I was browsing thru the December issue of "Premiere" magazine and came across the section where they describe all the movies that will be released that month. "Do America" was listed with the following synopsis: "This animated, feature-length exercise in couch-potato, metalhead yuks is too much too late. Plot, you ask? Heh-heh-heh." Wow. Whoever wrote this must have won the Pulitzer prize. You too can be a writer for "Premiere", all you have to do is pass the 3rd grade.

The first video from the movie has started playing on MTV. It is The Red Hot Chili Peppers doing a cover of an old song called "Love Rollercoaster". I am not the biggest RHCP fan, so I didn't care too much for the song, but the video was really cool. Completely animated (including the band), it contained many scenes from the movie. There were too many to name here, but I think the big news is that Cornholio will be in the movie! There were a couple scenes with him terrorizing the neighborhood (as usual). The movie looks like it is going to rock!
Commercials from the movie have started to air on MTV. A few scenes from the movie were shown, one had our heroes with big hairdews and leisure suits, really reminiscent of the 70's, there was Butt-Head being dragged by a trash truck, Cornholio, and the boys on motorcycles?! Cool! It also confirmed the opening date that I reported here a few weeks ago, December 20th. 43 days to go! Make sure to look at the movie page to sign up with the group in your city!

Hold The Phone! Without notice, Beavis and Butt-Head are back on the air! And not only are they back, they are on twice a night with 4 different episodes at 9pm and 11pm! Another shocker, the episodes are not just exhaustive repeats of the last year, but they are spanning what looks like seasons 3-6. The 9pm slot is not always certain though, as other shows often pre-empt it. But what really surprised me is that B&B bumped "Singled Out" from the 11pm slot to the 11:30 slot (which B&B originally held). I think this is simply awesome.
Get Your VCR's ready! A reliable source has told me that the Halloween episode "Bungholio: Lord of the Harvest" will be shown on Oct 31st. This is great news as this episode has only been shown once, which was obviously Halloween '95. For those of you who missed it, this episode is a classic where the boys decide to go trick-or-treating and Beavis turns into "The Great Cornholio" after ingesting way too much Halloween candy. Cornholio then proceeds to terrorize the neighborhood and other trick-or-treaters. Don't miss this one.
Hey, in case you missed it, Madonna had a kid. Do you care? MTV thinks you do, as they have plastered this all over the channel as of late. So what does the bimbo do? She blasts the media (including MTV) for delving into her private life. Isn't it ironic? :)
