Just *who* is the fartknocker singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" in one of the new episodes? I love Beavis' reaction to it.

I believe that said fartknocker was Sam Harris. He won for a few weeks in a row on Star Search back in the mid-eighties singing stuff just like that.

I'm not sure but I think it was a guy who was one of the champs in Star Search (that cheesy "talent" show with Ed McMahon). In fact, I think he sang the same song on the show. It wasn't a priority for me to videotape Star Search shows so I can't positively verify this.
