Was Stewart supposed to be Lumpy? I thought he was playing one of Beaver's loser friends - like Whitey, Richard, or *Larry Mondelo*.

Beavis calls him Lumpy (who was really Wally's friend), but I think they meant Whitey. (That name always struck me as weird because they were all whiteys on that show!)

I can just imagine a dialogue bit after the episode -- "Ward, I'm worried about the beaver." "Uhhh, you mean my wussy son?" "No, I think Eddie has an STD and now I'm all itchy."

No, that's my contribution. The flame shooting out of his butt
looked just like a military jet engine's discharge. I'm not sure what
it stands for except for "Jet" something. It's a jet-pack of some kind.
The fireburst lasts some 30 seconds. It might be an after-burner. I'm
not sure and I didn't keep the original article where I read about this
incident of the guy in Arizona:
About a year ago this fool got one and put it on his car. He drove
to a long straight road in Arizona. He figured he'd fire the thing up
once he got up to some speed and get a REAL thrill.
After police picked out what was left of him and his car from the
side of a hill some 3 miles away and 125 feet above the ground, they
pieced together what must have happened. He must have fired the thing
up and been pinned to the seat from G-forces. After about 20 seconds he
tried to apply the brakes while the thing was still going. The brakes
melted, the tires blew, and he was projected up up into the air and into
the side of this hill near the road.
They think they found traces of his fingernails in what was left of
the steering wheel. He was posthumously nominated for the Darwin Award
for the most stupid way of removing yourself from the gene pool (and
deserving to be removed for being so stupid).
But what I think happened to Beavis is that he lit a fart and
experienced what fire-eaters do with flames staying alive in their
mouths. The flames went inside and stayed virulent until they finally
let all the gas out with the anal spreader (and Beavis flies about 3-4
feet forward from the jet-thrust). I also think the writers got the
idea from South Park's 1st episode where Cartman is given an anal probe
by aliens and keeps farting huge bursts of flames ("AAAH, my ass!!"),
with one igniting the student sitting behind him. But Cartman doesn't
burn his clothes or cremate his buttocks, nor does he cauterize his
sphincter.
Anyone else notice that the guy with the three bullets in his gut
(who dies from lack of attention) is also Harry Sachs?

JATO is, I believe, an acronym for Jet Assisted Take Off.
