B&B Rant

I read a message in the Mike Judge Yahoo club that Mike Judge is making another movie. The message had a link to http://popcorn.co.uk/news/story.jhtml?id=28863 . This site talks about Mike Judges next movie but the movie is not a Beavis & Butthead movie. In my last post called Beavis & Butthead 2, I have a link to a website that claims that there won't be another B&B movie. This sucks. Mike Judge is making movies but none of them are about Beavis & Butthead.

Anyone here believe that King Of The Hill sucks. I seen KOTH several times & I can't stand it. Beavis & Butthead is better than KOTH. I read peoples opionions on Internet sites & message boards that Mike Judge went downhill after he went from B&B and onto KOTH. I also believe the Mike Judge went down when he switched to King of the Hill.

The main thing that I can't stand is these media watchdogs. These people & groups act like idiots. If they don't like a show then they want it to be banned. I was looking through my high school yearbook from 1994-1995 & saw an news article about B&B being blamed for causing a person to drop a bowling ball off a highway overpass in NJ & it killed somebody or the story about the trailer fire in Ohio where a woman blamed Beavis & Butthead for teaching her kid how to play with fire even though her home didn't have cable. The problem here is people blame a tv show for causing problems. I would love to see new episodes of Beavis & Butthead but if new episodes were made right now or in the future , wouldn't these idiots try to get it off the air again.

I saw an article about the end of Beavis & Butthead several years ago on the Internet. I believe that I seen it on CNN's website & I believe that the article said that new episodes of B&B might be made in the future. Lets just hope that it does happen. I saw an article several days ago from April 2000 that said that South Park may be coming to an end. It South Park does come to an end, this might open up the door to B&B coming back.

I want to her other people's opinions on what I have written here.

No, the end of South Park wouldn't affect B&B at all. I liked South Park the first year, but then it got "old." Just not the same quality of Beavis ant Butthead.

Seriously, who knows why MJ quit the BnB epichoads?? I wish someone would interview him now and ask if he ever might bring them back. I think the deal that ran him off was that MTV held all the rights to it and got most of the money, and was telling him what he could ant could not do.

I will stick out on a limb and say that I like King of The Hill, I think that boomhower guy is hilarious and some of the more recent ones were great like the one where bobby was talking about some golfer and he said he got up under more balls then a midget hooker hehe anyways thats just my 2 cents later....

The way I look at it is this! KOTH is good,...but compared to B&B its not! Its a good addition to the cartoon era,..but if its a choice between the two then B&B it is!!! Shame he cant get his ass in gear and do both!!! Its not as if he does it ALL on his own without help!

What is the truth is that I do think that KOTH sucks but even South Park sucks but I don't believe that these shows should be cancelled. Well, I turned on KOTH just to see what I think about it now. I seen the last 10 minutes of KOTH. Ok, KOTH is ok but I rather have B&B. If people don't believe that I saw KOTH, it had a guy named David who had a failing grade & he had to take a propane test. Getting back to B&B, I visited the B&B section of www.jumptheshark.com. The link to the site is http://www.jumptheshark.com/b/beavisandbutthead.htm . This site has people's opinions on B&B. One of the messages said that MTV was slave driving Mike Judge & not paying him for certain episodes. I like Mike Judge but if a company would do that to me, I would tell them to go to hell. I watched the season premier (of KOTH) thinking that they would make an exceptionally good one for the first show....no way....it sucked like most other KOTH shows have sucked before. Totally lame-ass humor!!!

OK. Truth of the matter is if its not B&B then it sucks. I really didn't turn on KOTH really. I turned on my local FOX station 2 watch FOX & ended up seeing the last 10-15 minutes of KOTH. If there was a choice between KOTH & B&B being on the air then I would take B&B. What sucks is it is not funny as B&B & The characters look a little like B&B characters. But after watching KOTH for 10-15, I don't think I want to see it again. KOTH is OK as a family show but B&B is great. Who doesn't enjoy Beavis turning into Cornholio. The article that said that new episodes of B&B might be made in the future is about 3 years old. I think that it was written after the Beavis & Butthead are Dead episode was on. An interview with Mike Judge would be great because we could find out if he might make new episodes in the future.

About the article that South Park might come to an end. What I meant was if South Park ends this might open up the door to B&B coming back is that if South Park does end then some of the SP fans might want B&B back. I could be wrong & I probably am. I used to like SP but now it sucks. SP was good in the beginning but then it started to suck after the 1st several episodes. SP tried to be like Beavis & Butthead but it failed.

I heard many theories about why Mike Judge stopped making B&B. One of the theories said that by making KOTH MJ gets more time for himself then he had with B&B. It pisses me off that because someone's kid is so impressionable, that the shows get blamed for it. Or the movies, or the music. Keep your kid on a leash if you have to, but there's no reason why a show that is so popular should be thwarted like that.

We can only hope. But look what happens when MTV picks up a show. The State was run right into the ground, they could only do so many shows a year, then left MTV in their prime. MTV sucks. Same with Ren and Stimpy. They screwed the creator of that show hardcore. MTV pisses me off too.

Let me rephrase a few things. When I said this sucks in my B&B rant, I meant that the cancelation of Beavis & butthead 2 is what sucks, not Mike Judges movies because I haven't seen his current movies & I don't know how good they are.

My stepmother & father are 2 people who kept saying that Beavis & Butthead should be cancelled because it causes problems in kids. This was several years ago when B&B was at the height of its popularity. They banned my stepbrother from watching B&B because during the show he talk & act like B&B. IMHO, B&B did not cause problems in kids. The problem about people is that they will lie just to get a show off the air. Take that trailer fire incident. The family blamed B&B for teaching the kid how to play with fire even though the family didn't have cable, so,IMO, the family blamed B&B so they could sue MTV & get money. I think they blamed B&B because the show was popular & making good money & the family wanted some of that money.

MTV sucks. I read so many newsgroup posts,message boards, websites, etc. about how MTV ruins good shows. Its still a wonder that shit shows such as Real World, Road Rules & Undressed are still on. What should happen is that Mike Judge should try to get back the rights to Beavis & Butthead from MTV if possible.

I got nothing against Mike Judge. I think he was cool & still is. This rant is almost about B&B. I am not whining but relaying what I believe about his current shows. If I had a chance to meet Mike Judge, I would love to. I like B&B & the office space cartoons from SNL but I am giving people some information about what Mike is doing now. IMO, KOTH does suck & I have seen a good amount of people who believe it sucks. I seen KOTH several times but compared to B&B, B&B is much more funny. Mike Judge is cool but KOTH is not, .
