I thought some of you (e.g. those who don't have teletext) might be interested in what they have to say about the show in the pages of MTVtext. This introduction has been there ever since last September when the show opened here. I wonder if they'll ever going to change it. Btw: they spell it Butthead (those ignorant asswipes), which I have changed to the correct form of Butt-Head.

Move over the Simpsons, watch out Wayne and Garth, because MTV has just launched a new, original animated series which follows the quirky adventures of Beavis & Butt-Head, two unemployed suburban misfits.
Beavis & Butt-Head join MTV's line-up weekdays at 22.30 CET, Saturdays at 02.00 CET and Sundays at 23.00 CET.
But who are these guys?...
Beavis is a blonde guy in a Metallica shirt and Butt-Head is a dark-haired guy in an AC/DC T-shirt.
These unemployed metal-heads amuse themselves with observations on important things like girls, TV shows and rock stars.
Their favourite activities include going on a rampage at the local mall with a neighbour's credit cards, going to Mexico to buy fireworks, wreaking havoc at a drive-thru burger bar, etc.
Our two metal jocks also enjoy going to enriching events such as the 'All-Star Monster Tractor Trashathon', and scanning TV channels to comment on "really cool" programmes.
The dim - but never dull - duo think alike, laugh (often) alike, complete each other's sentences, bang their heads in unison while playing their air guitar, and replace complete sentences with riffs from favourite tunes like Smoke On The Water.
The duo's favourite expression is "that was cool" or "that would be cool" or just "cool".
Poitically incorrect (they boo Earth Day) and proud of it, the pair roam the neighbourhood in search of twisted fun.
Beavis & Butt-Head is the first spin-off from MTV's award-winning animated variety series Liquid Television, in which the duo appeared twice.

So, that text contains some references that I have no idea where they're from (like the monster tractor thing, and the one about booing Earth Day) and I've seen most of the episodes. Anyone know more about them? Must be some of the oldest episodes.
