You know what would be cool? What if there was a remake of "March of the Wooden Soldiers" with Beavis and Butt-head in Laurel & Hardy's roles?

BEAVIS: I had to buy some more pee-wees.

BUTT-HEAD: Huh-huh-huh. You said "pee-wees."

BEAVIS: Yeah. That was cool.

BUTT-HEAD: What the hell is a "pee-wee"?

BEAVIS: They're like, these things you pee on.

BUTT-HEAD: Cool. Huh-huh-huh.

BUTT-HEAD: The toymaker and I are just like that. (crosses fingers.)

BEAVIS: Which one is you?

BUTT-HEAD: Uh,...I think I'm this one.

BEAVIS: Cool! You're a middle finger!

BUTT-HEAD: Shut up, Dillhole!

BEAVIS: I'd like to put on this giant shoe and kick Barnaby right in the nads! That would be cool!

(At the wedding of Barnaby.)

Butt-head: (to Barnaby) And now, you can, like, make out with the bride.

(The bride's veil is removed, and is revealed to be Beavis.)

BEAVIS: Heh-heh-heh!

BARNABY: I've been tricked!

BEAVIS: That was cool!

BUTT-HEAD: See you later, Beavis.

BEAVIS: Hey! Aren't I coming back with you?

BUTT-HEAD: Sorry, Beavis. You're married to Barnaby. You gotta stay here and -huh-huh-huh- do it with him!

BEAVIS: That sucks!

BEAVIS: So, Butt-head, what's that king dude gonna do with Tom-Tom?

BUTT-HEAD: He's gonna send him to Booger land. It's a place filled with boogers from everybody's nose.

BEAVIS: Heh-heh-heh. Cool!

....Oh, for the restrained, subtle nuances of the Ritz Brothers...

I've wondered what would happen if Beavis and Butt-head did their commentary over the actual movies.

Watching "Saps at Sea," upon hearing the name of the boat Stan and Ollie have rented, Beavis and Butt-head would find quite a cause to say "he said ---" and "he-he-he-he."

And should they see a W.C. Fields feature from the same year (the one he did without Mae West), the mere title would have their attention. And once Franklin Pangborn tells Fields what his job at the bank will be, they'd undoubtedly being saying "he said --" and "that fruity guy called said he's gonna be a --."

We better keep these notions from the decision makers at MTV/Paramount/Viacom--it might otherwise come true.
