Hmmm -- I like the definition, but Webster's defines the word as meaning to hurl violently into the air from the end of a stick, and suggests that the most commonly-hurled object is a frog.
One wonders what exactly necessitated a word to explicitly describe hurling frogs into the air from the end of a stick... any insight anyone has on this would definitely be of interest to me.
