- Well it seems like MTV doesn't really give a shit that the movie made over 60 million so far, because they have severly cut down the times that the show is on. We are given a grand total of 2.5 hours per week. Wow. And the Friday half hour time slot when new episodes are supposed to be ran is in a different format than we are used to. We now get 3 short episodes with videos stuck in from other episodes. This really bothers me as I thought some of the best lines came when the videos were show. Now I understand that Mike Judge is busy with "King of the Hill", but it would be nice to have the old format of 2 new episodes per half hour with new videos.

- MTV has quietly dumped the stupid game show "Idiot Savants" from it's 9:30 slot, and replaced it with "Loveline". I admit that "Loveline" is not bad, it is fun watching callers nervously call up with some ridiculous sexual problem: "Um... I... uh... am having problems with my girlfriend because she wants me to um... masturbate in front of her, and I uhh... can't do it. Is there something wrong with me?" The best part about the show is that Adam guy, he can make some good comments. BUT, I still want B&B back in the 9:30 time slot Monday thru Friday!! And then have "Loveline" on at 10. Why didn't MTV replace "Idiot Savants" with B&B?

- For those of you who care, Jenny McCarthy has left "Singled Out" to pursue her own show that starts in March. MTV replaced her with some other floozy, but that only lasted a week, and now Carmen Miranda is the new host. She is like a clone of McCarthy, only she is a brunette. She has the McCarthy patented "bouncy" personality, and I sure her large hooters didn't hurt her chances to become the new co-host. She is also a "singer" having put out a few albums. In fact, B&B watched one of her videos, in which the song sucked, but the boys liked it because they got stiffys watching her prance around in tight clothes. Will "Singled Out" last without McCarthy?

- Speaking of new shows, "Daria" will also debut in March. I'm sorry, but this show looks really, really, bad. Besides the mediocre drawing, I don't know how a depressed teenager who thinks the world sucks is going to carry a show. I am sure that McCarthy's show will get a prime slot in MTV's rotation, but I don't know where they are going to put "Daria". Knowing MTV's track record, I wouldn't be surprised to see them bump B&B yet again.

- "King of the Hill", Mike Judge's new show debuted on FOX about a month ago. I have seen every episode, and my reaction is so far mixed. I like the character of Hank Hill and what he goes thru in everyday life. But I don't know, the show just seems to be missing... something. It doesn't have the edge that B&B has, and the laughs sometimes are hard to find. Hopefully it will pick up, but I will continue to watch it.

Preach on, brother Chris! I agree, the funniest lines ARE from the videos. And there have been so many new videos since the last new ones that I have been dying to see Da Boyz trash ("Firestarter" by Prodigy being #1 on my list... that bleach-blond turdburglar in the sewer pipe screaming his butt off... WHOA!!).

Hmmm... haven't tried it yet, but that sounds like it at least has some humor potential. Anything on genital warts yet?

I'm an old chick and couldn't care less about Jenny. But I know you young boi-oi-oi-oingers thinks she's pretty cool. Better her than Pam Anderson Whatever.

Out to pasture would be my sincere hope. But I know they're gonna try and flog any B&B spin-off to death. Why DARIA, for cripes sake? Seems to me like some pissed-off alienated MTV programming chick with an Alanis complex who's never gotten over "My So-Called Life" was able to sell the brass on the idea that chicks would really watch this crap.

Criswell predicts! And I think you're 101% right. "Duh, gee, Daria is from B&B, so let's put it on in its place, and all of them will watch it." Sometimes I think the entire programming staff at MTV had a combined SAT score of 16-1/2.

Now that I am over the fact that KOTH is *not* B&B, I am quite fond of it in its own right. But, based on your opinion, Chris, answer me this if you would: I live in Texas, so I find quite a lot of the show dead-on perfect and absolutely hilarious. Is there something lost on those who aren't from Texas? I sometimes think it's just too regional for the rest of the country.

I just want everybody to know that I hate Jenny McCarthy with an intensity that would be appropriate had she killed one of my immediate family members. I had to stop watching Singled Out because every time it was on, my boyfriend would go on about how hot she was & it really pissed me off. Jenny sucks. I wanna like kick her ass & stuff.
