It has always been my assumption that they were from Judge's native Texas somewhere, probably Lubbock or somewhere.

I just realized something. Texas sounds like where they live-- in "The Butthead Experince" when Butthead goes on stage for their concert he says "I heard Houston wants to party". Check it out.
They are from Dallas. BTW, the "huh-huh, I said..." gag is used ONLY when the word in question is a double-entendre, eg, B&B approach the laundromat: "huh-huh, it says loads," loads referring to either loads of laundry or semen.
