I know this question may seem a little strange but... Why was the Aerosmith video 'livin on the edge' replaced by a golden earring video and another dumb video. I cannot remember any reason why it should have been censored except maybe: Beavis saying hit'em hit'em hit'em... as the train approaches or the BnB saying cool when they pop the airbags at the end.

I'm sure it is because of the kids popping the airbags...EMPTV wouldnt want to be responsible for all the cars stolen by 14 year olds with condoms in their pockets

If that is the case, then they would have taken the video itsself out of MTV, and it would have been on the news and stuff.
I also don't think that penile references had anything to do with the change.
Perhaps they just butchered and transplanted the videos from episode to episode... we might see Livin On The Edge in a future episode.:

But in any case, the reason they may have censored it is because Steve Tyler is half-painted, half-nude, but holding his package in his hands, so you can't see anything.
