Beavis is smarter

I saw something last night on the program that contradicted David Letterman's statement that, "Beavis is the gum on Butt-head's shoe." In 'Kidnapped', tickets to the Mucho Metal concert cost $23. Later the boys ask Stewart how much money his parents have, and Beavis demonstrates mastery of the complex world of multiplication when he correctly multiplies 23 by 2 (That's 46, but y'all probably knew that). We can conclude that Beavis is better with numbers than Butt-head, even though he says in 'Poetry and Prose' that 500-1=327. There's holes in most theories. Darn.

I hate it when they try to emphasize their stupidity by denying them the ability to count. (remember the "count the ways it sucks.. eleventeen" thing in that mega-suck vido.) Something that old can never be executed properly.

Dude, if you don't know.... Actually, it's toward the end of 'Poetry and Prose' by Primus on the B&Bh CD. Butt-head mentions that soon there will be 500 channels and dreams aloud about one of the channels not sucking. If you haven't any idea you should go buy the album. It rocks. IT ROCKS!!

Anyway, I've given up trying to determine the smarter of B&Bh. It can't be done. Logical inconsistency is the Mr. Bubble Mike Judge bathes in each and every evening (thank you, King Missile).

To add fuel to this fire, when he was on Letterman, Mike Judge and Letterman were talking about the two characters, and the conversation went something like (not WFW, of course):

Letterman: Okay, now Butt-head sometimes shows a little glimmer of intelligence, but Beavis....there's just nothing there... To which Judge replied something like:

Judge: Yeah... umm, Beavis is really just sort of a side-kick for Butt-head... (followed by laughter, etc...)

Which should be the definitive answer on the matter. If someone out there has more exact wording from the show (maybe you taped it), please post. I apologize for the paraphrasing, but that was like... one... two.. ummmm... a lot of days ago....

And in the light of this new evidence, should the show really be called "Butt-head and Beavis" instead?

Here's my idea for a new title...it was actually suggested on a parody that was called "Beavis and Barney"...it was cool... it was by the Capitol Steps or something like that, broadcast on National Pinko Radio (National public radio, for those of you in Rio Linda, CA)...anybody else hear this routine with Barney asking Beavis if he had ever hugged somebody, blah blah blah, they end up shooting barney in the head and driving a fireax into his foam or something delightfully fun to do to the purple pervert?

I think Judge said that Butthead came fron a guy he knew when he went to college called ironbutt.. they used to smash beer cans on his ass or something. But Judge and Letterman both said Butthead has some common sense and Beavis is just there.. but Butthead was pretty much the idea for the show and Judge created Beavis pretty much to compliment him. People seem to like idiot buddies.. Strange Brew: Bob and Doug, Bill & Ted, Wayne & Garth, Beavis and Butthead.
