Sez it all bnb fans. Bevis is in Ohio, northwest of Cincinnati, Ohio. (See AAA 1993 Road Atlas of da United States.) BTW, the Coumbus, Ohio campus of the Ohio State University has a Bevis Hall. So I guess the guys may be from Ohio? Does this mean Beavis is better known? The closest thing I found to "Butt-head" in term of towns was Butte, Montana. If it's Bevis, then it can't be related to Beavis... notice the spelling difference? Yes, I know spellings can be mutated, switched, flip-flopped, and put in a blender, but I'm pretty anal, so I'll stick to my proverbial guns. By the way, I'm pretty sure that Butte is pronounced "byoot", so if the guys had anything to do with these towns, they'd be "Bevis and Byoothead."

Well, it happens to be pronounced exactly the same as "Beavis".
It also happens to be (probably) the least favored building on campus because that is where everyone waits in line for hours on end to get a parking sticker that enables you to park in shitty spots. Also, you get to pay all those parking tickets they give out at this building.
So in that sense, I guess they could be related - they both piss people off.

Although I'd hardly call it a town, Bevis is about 5 miles north on U.S. 27 from where I grew up. And, yes, it *is* pronounced like "Beavis".
