I love the B+B Experience CD!! In particular I enjoy Primus's tribute to the boys, "Poetry and Prose", but I need some help with the lyrics... You know the part that goes...
*??* *??* *??* pearl *??* in chains Now there's a hell of a band They got that original sound That's sweepin' across the land
But the ain't no ZZ Top Now that's the band for me If I had my way, my TV'd play Just them and AC/DC
The references to "Pearl" and "In Chains" in the first line obviously refer to Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains, as Primus is taking them to task for being unoriginal sound-alikes. But what are the band names I can't pick out? What other bands is Primus taking to the whipping post??
