Once when BnB were watching an INXS video, Beavis tried to say "A dingo stole your baby" with a really awful Australian accent. Is there anything behind this? If there's a reference, I don't get it.

There was some court case (and TV movie, I think) a long time ago about a lady who left her baby unattended for a short time in her tent. Apparently, when she got back to the tent, dingos had taken it and most likely ate it, or maybe just killed it for sport. Somebody decided that she actually murdered her own baby (I guess the little sprog had one hell of a life insurance policy) and nobody was able to prove anything. Needless to say, this happened in Australia. So I think this is the movie to which Beavis is referring.

"A Cry in the Dark," a 1988 theatrical film starring Meryl Streep. Yes, it was based on the real-life case of an Australian woman who was accused of killing her baby. As the quote says, she claimed a dingo carried it away.

Meryll (sp?) Streep was in a movie where a Dingo stole her baby, and got accused of killing the baby herself (I think). This was during her "accent" phase, when she would do a new accent every movie.

What if a dingo cut off your dingle? That would be cool. No it wouldn't. That would _suck_!

Seeing's that a dingo is a dog of some kind, I'm pretty sure he says bit off your dingo (or dingle). I'm really disappointed in you Bekki.

But you're still not a waste of bum wipe like some of the people that post here.

Craig.

Actually, I'm not sure if he says bit of your 'dingle' or 'dingo'. You guys can argue about it and let me know :-)

I am not sure about the details but there was a famous criminal case in Australian about a couple that was accused of killing their own child. They claimed that it had been stolen by dingo when they were camping in outback or something like that. I think the incident occured some time in the late seventies but I could be wrong. I sorta remember seeing a story about it on Sixty Minutes (Of course this was before B-n-B).
