Has anyone else noticed Beavis' subconscious inclination to religion? Two examples:
- During a Soundgarden video: "This guy looks like Jesus." -Butt-head "Yeah. Christ is cool." - Beavis
Any thoughts?
Yeah: "Great God almighty!" "Oh dear Lord!"
I suspect he was raised at one point by his Grandmother who probably took him to church and said these expressions around him frequently
Yeah, it's the affects of the power mongering, conspiracy ridden christian fundamentalists, they've got poor Mike bowing down to them, pretty soon we'll see B&BH starring in christian bible fables, like going back in time with some funky robot and witnessing the crucifixation of christ or something wonderfully fundamentalist christian like that...

Or there could be a "Beavis and Butt-head Go to Hell" episode...
When I was 12 or 13 I might have said something similar (being raised in a christian family and all). It was not until I was 16 or so that I would explain that it is just a nice excuse for stuffing your face with lots of food and then get sort of pissed and start a great big fight with those members of the family you always hated but never dared to say "piss off you ugly fat bastard" to until you were quite as drunk as that. But I don't think Beavis will ever reach that stage.
The Soundgarden guy is cool & he looks like Jesus => Christ is cool. Pretty funny B&B logic, actually. Nothing to do with religious inclination I'd think.
