Some thought required

Talking with a co-worker the other day about B&B, I mentioned that they made an incorrect statement during a sketch and didn't correct themselves. This meant that the only way to have gotten the joke was to actually KNOW something. The particular instance I'm referring to is when they were watching Faith No More's "Epic" video, I distinctively heard Butthead say, "I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers", and Beavis replied, "Yeah.. hehheh...they're cool..hehheh...hmmmm.."

Are there any other instances where the only way to have gotten the joke was to be familiar with what they were watching (or referring to ?")

That video where Beavis goes,

"I feel a seizure coming on"

and then he makes like he has one, well

people were reported to actually get seizures when viewing that video.

Probably the Wang Chung video they are watching when he saus he feels a seizure coming on. I can imagine someone suing Wang Chung saying it gave them seizures.

Maybe Butt-head was just making conversation, but during Def Leppard's "Animal", he said something along the lines of "Spinal Tap sure does suck nowadays." and Beavis replies with ~"Yeah, especially since they got all new people." (Don't want to review the tape for exact quote right now). This kinda bugged me since I like Def Leppard.

By the by, I wonder what the possibility of Beavis or Butthead (or heaven forbid BOTH) having girlfriends in the new episodes is... At least a date or something would be cool. Get a little friction going between the two, not that beating each other with bats isn't enough... :)

Yea, I can sympathize with ya...last night while B&B were watching a Kriss Kross video, they said somethin like "He's such a wuss, but he could kick Axl's ass." Thta really got to me, picking on my namesake. :)

This happens quite a bit in B&B. Calling L7 the Bangles or the Go-Gos Calling misc. wuss metal acts Spinal Tap Beavis deciding the lead singer of AC/DC in a particular video is better than the old fart they have now Deciding some misc. wuss Boyz II Men-type group is made up of Kenny G, Snow, Vanilla Ice, etc. Mistaking any white flat top wearing guy for Vanilla Ice

Of course most of these are easy to recognize. Any that I may have missed? Apparently, the writers are always throwing out material because it's too intelligent for B&B to say. I guess that's left for MST3K.

This one's been bugging me too. They are sitting on a sidewalk, and Butthead says "Pull my finger" and Beavis sais "No way" and they say this several times, so Beavis finally pulls it and says "Nothing?" and Butthead says "SBD" What they heck does that mean?!? For the life of me, I can't figure it out...
