I'm in Canada, and get MTV via satellite. But those nefarious broadcasters have switched to a different scrambling mechanism! They have the nerve to steal their programs back after we legitimately stole them in the first place! No more Beavis and Butthead!

Count your blessings, man - I'd trade MTV's 1 1/2 hours of watchable programming a day (B&B) to have MuchMusic on my cable system anyday. I'm thinking of moving to Canada just to get _away_ from !@#$% MTV!

Nah, you don't want MuchMusic, they just decided to quit showing Ren and Stimpy becuase "Its a music station and we should be showing music oriented programs" or something like that. There's a huge discussion about it on alt.tv.ren-n-stimpy. They're stuck with reruns of Partridge Family

I am at peace. Our descrambling chip had merely become unseated, and resetting it was a simple process. I had thought they changed the scrambling mechanism becase it has happened a few times before.
Without BnB, I thought I'd have to find something else to do with my time, like *read* or something...
