Only 7 episodes?

Comedy Central promoted "8 New South Parks" before the new season started (I must have seen the pinball commercial for it 20+ times) but by my count there have only been 7 episodes shown, and tonight's is a repeat ("Preschool" - The boys start a fire and blame someone else after their attempts to pee it out fail).

WTF?

Did Matt & Trey slack off so much they forgot an episode?

I saw a commercial for the Season Recap this Saturday & Sunday at 10pm, so I checked my listings and sure enough only 7 episodes will be shown. Saturday 10p-12a (4 episodes) & Sunday 10p-1130p (3 episodes).

Did I miss something?

Nope, you are correct. No new episode tonight.

Mind you, after the rest of this new season,......is anyone really disappointed.

Maybe ????? They have finally come up with a decent episode idea that they want to get right before the WHOLE SEASON is a write-off.

Yeah, I am! I was hoping for ONE great episode this season. Now that there won't be an 8th episode, my hopes are wrecked.

There were no "Critter Christmas" level eps but the season wasn't bad by any sence of the word.

The hippy eps The Sexchange eps even the lasey peterson eps was good

I'd give the season a D+ average. No outright failures, but mostly Ds and a few Cs.

You must be watching different episodes than I am. They are all great, not even close to a low D grade.

Actually, a lot of the fans on this board agree with me that this season was below average, though they might not give it as low a grade as I did. I am sure we are watching the same episodes, it's just that we have different tastes. Why not post about what you like about this season?

Yes, a South Park Studios interview with Matt Stone in which he said there were going to be 7 eps instead of 8 due to scheduling conflicts.
