Craiog vs. Tweek...

It occurs to me that had it not been for the "Mr. Adler" portions of tonight's episode, that this could have been one of the funniest episodes in recent history. The fight scenes and training sequences were hillarious, but the Adler stuff was pretty lame, IMO.

Anyone agree?

Damnation, tough room. I figured after a two-week discussion in here about how Cartman spells "seriously", I thought that a mild suggestion about how Mr. Adler spells "screw" might meet with a little less savagery.

I totally agree with you. This could have easily been a much better episode had they taken out all the live action shit. Perhaps it would have been ok if they only did it once, but just like how Saturday Night Live usually ruins a perfectly good sketch by stretching a one minute joke into ten minutes, the live action stuff was overkill.

Nope, the Adler stuff made the show...until the end, that is. The live- action sequence inside Kenny's hood was just plain lame.

it wasn't so much lame as it was just tedious to get through. if they'd toned it down a bit (instead of every two seconds showing another shot of pam going "push me higher richard" and such) it would have been better.

Yeah- like I said, overkill. If they had only shown the live sequence maybe once or twice, it would have been tolerable.

Actually, she didn't land in a pool, the wreckage appears to have landed in a body of water. The pool sequence was just a representation of how helpless Richard was in the situation. It was an event that he only saw in his own mind, just like when she sat up in her coffin.

I completely agree with ya on that one. All the stuff about the fight (like Cartman as a Sumo and the big match) was funny and worthwhile, but that whole thing with Mr Adler completely ruined it. Who wants to see live action of someone's fiancee die in a plane crash and him moping afterwards? And even worse, they drag it on and put it on about 7 times in the episode... BORING!

Tweek vs. Craig was a decent episode, except for the Mr Alder bits. When will they learn, live action never works in a cartoon show...

Except of course for "Alabama Man" and "Wild Wacky Action bike" in Chinpoko Mon, THEY WERE FUNNY!
