April Fools joke on WHOM?

I think we all agree that the 4/1 show was a big joke. But upon whom was the joke directed? Towards the people who are pissed at not finding out the identity of Cartman's dad, or at the people who actually enjoyed the show

Who is to say that Trey and Matt didn't get together and tell each other that some fans are so gullible that they can put out just any crap with their name on it, and those fans will embrace it and even call them genuises for doing it

And if that's the case, they certainly proved it, and are probably laughing their asses off that they can be called geniuses for putting out 1/2 hour of stupid fart jokes.

That worked for about 30 seconds. What about the other 29:30?

I guess SNL has been brilliant for years, since it's rarely funny. Those guys are genuises, producing crap week after week, when people are expecting comedy.

If that describes someone who is a fan of quality material, then I plead guilty. I don't pretend to be a sheep, following the flock whereever it goes. I'm a fan of SP because it's usually funny. If it's not, I see no reason to be faithful to it. This is entertainment, not a religion.

Nah I'm not knocking whether you found it funny or not, in general I'm saying people were so dissapointed not see SP they automatically hated it. Excusey moh? Good comedy shows have taken risks before, like M*A*S*H. I think they had a lot to lose airing that episode, still it's freaking funny
