Yes, I agree. I live in Salt Lake City, UT where we have the evil TCI cable company who could care less about channels like Comedy Central, VH1, Cartoon Network, Sci Fi Channel, E! and several others (but they are more than willing to add the BBC Channel and the Game Show Network when they "expand" their cable system this spring).

Anyway, enough of my bitching about TCI. I have a DSS dish (Sony 2nd generation) and it's awesome! The picture is tons better than any cable signal I have ever seen and I get to control what programming I have.

BTW, on March 10th, they are moving Comedy Central from channel 964 to channel 255. I'm not sure what Dish Network is doing.

Or you can get the Dish Network like I did. 40 channels plus your local stations for 25/month. or you can go for the big deal with like 150 channels something...either way, a dish is way better than cable
