Kenny didn't die!

You never see Kenny getting killed, the big monster just runs off with him in his mouth, how do we know he killed him, he could have just put him down and come back to the bus for the other kids ?

Come to think of it, we didn't see Kenny get killed by the monster, just carried off.

Thankfully, Kathy Lee did die -- sort of. Pardon me if I don't read Kaddish.

I thought that it would've been cool to prove that Kenny was really dead by having the monster take one of his long sharp fingers and stab at Kenny to pick him up and carry him away. (Kinda like a fork.) But, it is also very obivous that Kenny died in the hands of the monster cuz he couldn't have fought against it.
