I was thinking about how quickly they got hairy Saddam into the last episode, and then I remembered that Kenny died. Isn't that the only time Kenny died this season? Could that mean that they took an old outtake episode that they could insert Saddam into and aired it? Is there anything else in the episode that dates it? Obviously it would have to have been for a fairly recent season, since it has City Wok guy in it.

They probably had a rough outline of what they wanted to do, then when the new PM of Canada was swore in they added a little more.. I'd bet they still hadn't decided who was going to be the Wizard, and in fact, probably had a big list of their favorite targets, including Streisand, Bush, OBL, Saddam, etc... then, when Saddam was captured, they decided on that and finished it out. --- "30,000 people think you suck!"

That's a two-part question, I will answer the last part first. The reason I come here and read the group before I've seen the episode is that I might not be able to watch a new episode for a couple days after I record it, but I am almost always able to access the newsgroups, and I come here to pass the time and because I enjoy it. The answer to the other part of your question, which could be phrased more accurately as "Why do you expect people to not put spoilers in the subject line?" is that I do not remember having seen it done in the past in this or any of the other two TV show groups I have been hanging out on for the past four or five years. It probably has been done before, but it is rare enough to have escaped my attention.
In addition, most people are considerate enough to put the word "spoiler" in the subject line if the message contains spoilers. I'm not even asking for that small consideration, because I don't read new threads started after a new episode has aired until I have seen the new episode. Problem is, I can't really help seeing the subject lines,

That is not correct. I complained ONCE, in the other thread. In this thread, I simply asked politely if the poster could not do that. A polite request is not a complaint.

Of course I can, but it is not always convenient to do so. If I can ask people to refrain from posting spoilers and they choose to honor my request, then I won't have to do so.
