Tonight's Ep: Am I crazy?

I thought Cartman's "Oh Holy Night" was adorable in its own strange way.

I also loved "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

This might sound crazy, but I would rank last night's episode up there with the best Christmas specials I've ever seen (the Grinch and Peanuts included). The "Christmas Time in Hell" segment looked like something directly from the Flying Circus... you know, not a Python imitation, but something that really could have appeared on there... Watching South Park now could almost be the equivalent of having been a BBC watcher when the Flying Circus aired originally... you never know how far the envelope is going to be pushed or what Trey and Matt are going to do to offend somebody. I just pray that South Park stands the test of time like the Flying Circus has!

I had to watch Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer last night because I was baysitting for the kiddies, but let me tell you, I definitely had more fun watching South Park in my room later. >:-) If my employers, who are pretty devout Christians, knew I enjoyed listening to a song entitled "Christmas Time in Hell," I'm not sure what would happen... LOL!

Speaking of Rudolph, the openning song, while pushing my own limits with regards to potty humor, was an extremely apt parody of all the Christmas specials I've ever seen, particularly ones like Rudolph. And I thought the dreidle song was awsome, and not just because I'm Jewish. The way the five different parts intertwined with each other was fantastic!

Ain't that the truth! I got a chance to look at the lyrics to the songs on the album, and both "Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo" and "The Most Offensive Song Ever" made me squirm. Despite that, though, I can't wait to get the CD- after what I've heard so far, it appears to be a work of creative genius on the same level as the BLU soundtrack.

That was a kick ass episode. The final song was indeed touching. My favorite songs were 'Christmas Time in Hell' and 'Merry F'ing Christmas'
