Too bad "Doug Henning" did not pull a disappearing act when Barbarady was doing a billy club demo on him. ;-)

Couldnt be, Henning is Canadian but the character in the show had no split head. -Dave
Maybe he had his head surgically sown together so as to better fit in. Just a thought. hehe
Please, someone, tell a boy with no knowledge of Doug Henning who you're talking about, please. And for bonus points, you can also enlighten me with information about the book 'Atlas Shrugged'. Thanking YOU in advance, Yashar- he's on the other side of the world you know.

Chrissakes... do a search on Yahoo.
Doug Henning is a geeky magician... used to be popular about 10 years ago, but David Copperfield (copafeel) surpassed him as one of the world's most well known magicians. Henning also gave every appearence of being a homosexual, child molester, and/or pervert. He's just one of those weird-looking, weird-sounding guys you highly suspect there's SOMETHING wrong with.

Doug Henning is a formerly famous TV magician and Canadian. He and Debby (that awful woman he's married to) were once reasonably successful, but plowed far too much money into a line of ecologically-oriented stuffed animals which failed miserably. Later, he ran for the Canadian Parlaiment as a member of the Natural Law party, which promotes Transcendental Meditation. (His campaign failed miserably.) He is currently designing a Transcendental theme park for his guru, the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. We can only assume it will fail miserably.
Right-wing college students everywhere consider it a masterpiece of Western literature. Everyone else thinks it is a piece of total crap.

Funny. Plus, I think on Saturday Night Live a long time ago someone did a hillareous impression of Henning. Remember the rainbow shirt and buck teeth and "Everything is possible... in the world of magic." hehe :)

I believe it was Martin Short who impersonated him.
Also in the same episode, during the news, Rich Hall did another impersonation of him.
"Isn't it amazing that this show has TWO Doug Hennings. You can never have enough Doug Hennings." It was very humorous.
Rich Hall, now theres a name that I wouldn't be surprised to hear on a future SP.
