Let me just say something

You people need to stop nitpicking at the show. Who cares if Wiggum is smarter than Barbrady. Who cares if Cartman called Pip a French kid if he really is British. It's a cartoon. You are complaining about the continuity of a show that kills the same character in every episode. You guys read into it too much. And Matt and Trey are laughing at you kinds of people. They still can't believe that people were writing them letters saying that they are going to boycott the show because of the Terrance and Phillip April Fools gag. They thought that it was funny to do a whole episode of just fart jokes. And so did I. I thought that it was one of the funniest episodes. You people that hated that one so much were just blinded by the rage that you had to wait another month to find out who Cartman's father was. As for the show focusing on the smaller characters, I think that it's a great idea. You people don't realize it, but it gives the show a greater life span. Look at the Simpsons. They have developed almost every person in Springfield. And look at how long that show has been on the air. More than 200 episodes. That's outstanding for any TV show. Do you think that show would have lasted even half as long as it has by just having Bart say, "Eat my shorts" in every episode? This show is trying to grow. They are trying new and different ideas. So just sit back and enjoy it.

I agree, and I disagree. I enjoy nitpicking, just because it makes the show fun. It gives us something to do while saying 'damn, I have no life'. Not to mention that Trey & Matt put these little things in once they noticed we payed that much attention. I love the new episodes in which they develop the minors! They need to give the show a broader horizon, and I love how they're going about it. Oh, and once I got passed the shock, I loved Not Withmout My Anus. Just my $0.02.

I hated the episode because it was boring. I enjoyed the joke in itself, screwing over all the fans who wanted to see who Cartman's father was, but the episode itself was BORING. South Park doesn't employ the greatest animation in the world, but the animation used for "Not Without My Anus" was painful to watch, almost like Dr. Katz. And I enjoy good British or Canadian comedy as much as, or more than, the next person, but the episode SUCKED. I had maybe 2 or 3 chuckles throughout the entire episode.

Again, kindly piss off and don't tell me or anyone else here what they should and should not enjoy. If people want to argue over silly things in the episodes, let them.

You are right about how the development of minor characters breathes more life into a show and makes for a longer running of the series all the while improving the quality of the episodes, I totally agree. But you are comparing nitpicking with all out whining, and that's where I don't agree with you. Part of being a fan is to be able to gather together with other fans and talk about our favorite and not so favorite parts, what we noticed, ideas we want to share, things we'd like to see, and thinngs we don't, etc. It's fun, and it gives us something SP related to do while we wait on that long ass week to go by until the next episode, and acts as good filler for our otherwise empty lives, hehe just kidding about that last one ;-) But its something totally different to sit here and cry and whine about things like the April Fools joke, THAT is something I don't like to see, its ok if you didn't like something, go ahead and say it, but down cry about it. Come to think of it, part of having free speech is to discuss and whine about anything you want, so I guess even that is ok. Basically what I'm saying, is that no matter what is discussed or said here, it's all in good fun and part of the SP phenomenon. Is all gewd ;-)
