butter's eye

I just watched the ep where cartman pretends to be a robot for butters.

Shouldn't butters have an eye patch, usually eyes don't grow back after being hit with a ninja star

So? Kenny seems to have no problem coming back to life.

South park characters never or rarely retain injuries from previous episodes. Cartman got starved nearly to death in one episode, and was nice and plump when the next one rolled around.

Besides, Butters was fine last week when he was doing his tap dance.

Ironically enough, my wife noticed that before I did, and she's not even a fan, per se. She watched that anime-esque episode with me(but didn't get the anime stuff, I'm sitting there laughing my ass off at the anime sequences, especially chef ala anime, and she hasn't seen any anime to speak of, so she doesn't get it at all).

Another line that she got about a full minute before I did was butters at the door when the AWESOM-O arrives: "I always wanted a big package!" She starts laughing, and I'm like... huh? Oh! Yeah! *fwwweeeorrrww airplane noises around head*

I didn't expect that, since the other characters heal or resurrect between eps, but it would be really cool if they had Butters wear an eye patch from now on, or even better, have a glass eye that didn't move when his other eye did. M&T kinda missed the boat on that one.
