I have just finished watching a copy of the unaired version of Cartman Gets An Anal Probe. This version is very different to the one Comedy Central plays. Here are some examples:
1) The background music is a take-off of the piano music of those classic Peanuts holiday specials plus there is no opening theme by Primus at the beginning of the episode. 2) Some of the characters' voices are different, especially Cartman's mother and Wendy Testaburger. 3) The classroom scene is different. Mr. Hat calls Kyle a "turd" and after Kyle says, "Fuck Mr. Hat" (the "fuck" word being censored of course), Mr. Hat says to Kyle, "No Kyle, fuck you!" (once again the "fuck" word is bleeped out) and then there's a commercial break. This version doesn't have Cartman farting fire in the classroom or the scene where Cartman sets Pip on fire with his farts. 4) The cafeteria scene is completely different. The scene where Pip explains to the boys what the origin of his name is (which was used later on in An Elephant Makes Love To A Pig) is shown. Also, Chef doesn't ring the fire alarm to get the boys out of school, he gives them hot tamales to eat. The scene shifts to the school's playground where Pip cracks his head open after sliding down a slide and crashing into a jungle gym bar. The boys are then bullied by a group of 5th graders who force Cartman to eat all of the hot tamales. That is why Cartman farts fire not because of the aliens but because of the hot tamales. The scene shifts to the school nurse's office where Pip is bleeding heavily. When Cartman farts fire in the office, the nurse then gives the boys permission to leave the school and take Cartman home. 5) The "Tom Selleck" reference that Cartman makes is not present in this version. 6) In the scene where the boys wait for the aliens to arrive, they notice a strange light which turns out to be the headlights of Chef's car. Chef drives away when the real aliens arrive (no "Sanford And Son" reference in this version). 7) The scene where the cows have a conversation with the aliens doesn't exist in the original version of Cartman Gets An Anal Probe. 8) The "David Caruso's career" reference is not present in this version. Instead, Kyle promises Ike that he would no longer "kick the baby". 9) The scene where the cows zap the officer with the "I Love To Singa" thing is not present in this version. Instead, the aliens are having a barbecue and guess who are the main course. 10) Kyle breaks his promise to Ike and kicks him through the window of Cartman's house startling Cartman's mother. 11) Kenny lives! You heard right. Kenny miraculously survives his confrontations with the aliens, the cow stampede, the cop car running him over and the rats eating him up. 12) The whole "pinkeye" speech by Cartman isn't present in this version. Instead, Pip says, "God bless us everyone" then Cartman promises to kick his ass as soon as he gets up after being dropped off by the aliens. 13) The show's end credits are different. A different Braniff clip plays at the end as well.
Please don't bother asking me for a copy of this show. I don't need Comedy Central slapping me with a lawsuit for copyright infringement. Enough said.
