I don't know, but other then the fact that the parents looked funny(The I'm with stupid shirt and the scotch hat), do you think it was right to petray Kenny as poor? I don't know, for me it kinda' changes my outlook of Kenny. At first he seemed like the kid who knew all the dirty words and who was looked up to a little bit. Now, he's a dirty poor skank that everyone is making fun of.

I don't like the fact that they made Kenny poor, but that's what Matt and Trey want to do. The fact that he is the fouled mouth little bastard and dies every episode would have been enough for me. Cartman would have been the best candidate to be poor - his mom does crack, abducted by aliens (usually a white trash person in a trailer), and loveably ignorate. My inital perception of Kenny (and the rest of the group) was that they were all middle class. Oh well, theory shot down. I do hope that they turn Kenny's family around. Maybe his dad should join the Japanese Mafia :).

What gave you the idea that he wasn't poor in that episode? And just because he didn't talk doesn't mean he's different. The creators have everything planned in advance. You can't just expect someone to make up a cartoon as they go along.

It seems that "poor" stuff started with the Halloween episode. I don't know why that started up. Not sure yet how I feel about having the obligitory *poor* kid. I thought for sure that Kenny would die in that thing where he's trying to get cans. Actually, I kind of like that Kenny's dad is a drunk, that's kinda funny, and an analogy is made that the reason they are poor is because he drinks up all their money. That must be why my family is poor too. :)
Anyway, I think we should all take a drink every time they make that "Kenny is poor" reference. Add to the SP drinking game.

But, it's just one more thing to add to the pile of things that go wrong with Kenny's life. I think that, in the Thanksgiving episode, when they're deciding who the "Ethernopian" goes with and say, "...but never with Kenny 'cause his family's too poor.", and Kenny kicks Cartman, that's hysterical. I think that the show has done a good job of, not making you feel sorry for Kenny, but just making his life complete mahem.
