EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) has released their January issue with four separate collectible covers, each one with a different South Park character on it. The one I got in the mail today featured Cartman, but you can also collect Kyle, Stan, and Kenny covers. Yes, I know many of you don't read EGM, but I just thought you'd like to know. They also had a huge article in EGM about the game...
- The speech will be a huge part of the game. 9MB out of the 16MB cart size will be used for the speech and dialogue. This includes a line from Big Gay Al: "Ooh, you're so naughty, I'd like to give you a drive-by slapping...". In fact, there will be some new dialogue in the game never aired on the TV show.
- The game will use the same technology as Turok 2, while still maintaining the classic paper cut-out image, only in 3D.
- Weapons include snowballs, cow launchers, pissballs (snowballs with piss), etc.
- Buildings in the game will be destructible.
- The first chapter of the game begins with a battle with the pissed-off turkeys.
- The game will support a 4-player battle mode, ala GoldenEye 007.
- Nintendo is not going easy on the language. "Fat ass," "piss", "crap", etc. from the show will be included in the game. It will be released with on the Nintendo 64 with an "M" rating.
