What's left to make fun of?

Most of the best SP episodes spoof some cultural or social fad or some weird news event...sexual harassment, global warming, UFOs, horror movies, icemen, the fetus lady (a real story from China), Wacko, religion, etc. I'm trying think of what's left to make fun of. Perhaps...

Forced Bussing. The boys are bussed into downtown Denver and become home boyz, people die.

Psychic Hotline. The boys get into horoscopes and stuff, people die

Martial Arts. Spoof a Honk Kong movie, people die.

Viagra. Use you imagination, people die.

Gill Bates. The tycoon who takes over everything, people die.

Title 9. The boys lose their football team, switch to synchronized swimming, people die.

The Music Man. A traveling musical instrument salesman comes to town, people die.

The Phantom. Cartman becomes deformed, lives underground, people die.

C-SPAN. The c-span bus comes to town, people die.

The Plague. Yes, the plague is back, bigger than ever, everyone dies but Kenny.

God vs Allah. Comedy Central is car bombed, Matt and Trey die.

BTW, very few shows remain any good after three years. Star Trek got cancelled before it had time to get really crappy. Dick Van Dyke quit after 3 yrs (I think). That's why all those shows were good. But maybe if our culture can continue to manufacture new stupidities, SP can go on indefinitely!

If this isn't a troll post I would have to say an episode making fun of movies like scream would be good. THe killer could be Mr. Hat, it would be very fun!

Hey, I liked that one. Besides, it had good-looking dumb women in it. Can't be bad. But they did repeat a lot of the basic shows. Most were:

Spock Goes Nuts

The Attack of the Space Creature (blob or gas)

Time Travel (always backwards)

The Evil Computer (Kirk talks it into destroying itself)

Space War! (oops, let's be friends)

Superior Space Beings (Ha! You ain't so smart)

Evil Cartman (actually, good Cartman) with the gotee in Spooky Fish is like Spock in the parallel universe episode.

Then "Van Gelder" in the planetarium episode is the guy who escapes the evil mental treatment room. It even has the same music and a "mind meld" scene.

One of the kids is blond and dresses like Captain Kirk.

Let's not forget the Simpsons, a show running for 9 years yet still turns up countless laughs every time. Possibly the best show ever created for television. Wonder how much longer they can go on...

That line was from First Contact. There is also the bonus material on Volume 1 of the South Park DVD collection: Before each episode there is a "fireside chat" with Trey and Matt sitting in front of the fireplace. And with them is their dog Scratch which changes to a different type of dog every 20 seconds: from a Saint Bernard to a collie to a stuffed doll. It so much reminded me of all the makeup blunders in Star Trek with the Klingons, Romulans and Trills-- total drastic alterations and the characters think nothing of it. I hope those Star Trek producers and makeup artists are turning red in the face at seeing this because I have a feeling that Trey and Matt are grinding them into the pavement with those mutating dog scenes.

Another thing to make fun of is potato chips.(I dunno, C-4 plastic explosives are mixed in with the potatoes and cause mass havoc world wide?!)

And Cartman, who just LOVES to eat snacks like potato chips, would be the walking bomb... did you notice the Coo Coo chips he was eating in the movie?
