Here's my grand suggestion:
Because we always pass a cookie, a tray of cookies, etc., I think that the award presented to each fanfic writer should be the 'Cookie Award.' I know it doesn't have quite as much... erm, charm as the fanny award, but it makes a lot of sense. That way, we could still pass cookies at the end of a good 'fic, but the award would be the 'Cookie Award.'
