I was looking at www.tvguidelines.org and came across this phrase:
"If you have a V-chip equipped television, you can also program it to block programs with specific ratings"

American law states that all new televisions must be equiped with a "V-Chip" which is used so parents can block out television shows with specific ratings. Usualy used to block shows with bad language. This is where the V-Chip in south park name came from. But the TV "V-Chip" came first.
