Funny... After staying away from the newsgroup for a few months... I have realized that one thing stays constant.
The "That show SUCKED" rabble immediately follows subtely funny and highly intelligent episodes. The "that RULED" posts have the most fart jokes.
Cowdays was an episode that almost caused BRAIN HEMMORAGING among our viewing party. The cow jonestown stuff was PERFECTLY executed. Subtle buildup with a stellar "oh the humanity" finish. Cartman's Ming Lee delusions almost made beer come out of my nose! I'm still trading "Fie dolla suckee suckee" and "Hey G.I.Joe me love you long time" jokes 2 weeks later.
My conclusion... Cowdays was like a Bugs Bunny cartoon to the young fans. The Best Jokes went right over their heads. Trey & Matt write to the older audience, and its just more amazing to me each week that the kids love it too.
E-gadz... I'm as old as Matt & Trey, and i'm sure these posts are making them feel just ANCIENT! They do that to me.
Oh... by the way, the Balls in Jennifer Love Hewitt's mouth game was priceless as well.
