Hey everyone,
I got Mike Palladino's videotape today! Woo Hoo! To refresh memories, he offered, for $10, to send a copy of the first 6 episodes (sans commercials, thanks!) plus the Spirit of Christmas. I got it today at work, and watched the first 10 minutes of it.
The first episode if the Spirit of Christmas, which is the same one that is on Comedy Central's homepage. It looked to be a 3rd generation copy, but well worth the wait to finally see it without all the blips of Real Audio. After that was the *original* Spirit of Christmas. The quality of it isn't so hot, but also well worth the wait. It's a scaled down version of SofXmas, and some people know this as the Frosty the Snowman episode. In it, Cartman is known as Kenny, the characters all look like the Peanuts characters (and in one scene, the Peanuts Christmas song is played), and for a brief moment, the character we know as Kenny even has a mouth, although he doesn't have any lines in it.
After that are the rest of episodes released, not including the Halloween episode. Mike wanted us trusting souls to make a quick note to tell everyone that he isn't running a sham (yeah, like he's going to skip the country on the money he got from us.) I say to those of you who don't already have the first six episodes (in good quality, I should add) or who want to see the original SofXmas to contact Mike here. I don't remember his email address, but he posts here frequently.
