Anybody out there who's not trying to make money off the creators of SP got the Frosty short and uncut Anal Probe pilot on VHS for trade or reasonable sale? I'm looking for decent copies on an SP-speed tape. My copy of Spirit of Xmas could be better, too, so I wouldn't mind a better copy of that.
(This request is meant for true fans who may be willing to help out another fan, not opportunists trying to make money off someone else's creativity. Selling SP tapes for profit is slimy.)
By the way, has anybody heard news about the SoXmas/Anal Probe video release? I'd think they'd want to get it on store shelves before Xmas if the rumors of its release are true. There should be some truth there, as I read the information in an online account of an appearance Matt and Trey did recently.

What is different about the un-cut anal probe pilot anyway? Is it just the anal probe scene? The look on Cartman's face, not to mention seeing the aliens pulling down his pants, kinda said it all.
There are plenty of subtle differences (lines added or left out), but there are some major differences. Here's a synopsis of the episode:
It begins as before, with the kids singing and Ike running up, much to Kyle's disgust. The dildo conversation, Kyle using Ike to hit Cartman, and the Kick the Baby demonstration are as before. Cartman tells the other three about his dream, which they tell him was no dream. Chef drives up and asks if they saw the spaceship, which draws a shocked reaction from Cartman as before. He is still wearing his "Believe" shirt. The bus arrives, Kyle kicks Ike one more time, and they leave. As they leave, the aliens that gave Cartman the anal probe take Ike away, and Kyle tries and fails to stop the bus so he can save him. Elswhere, the cattle farmer is concerned about his mutilated cows, which Officer Barbrady dismisses as nothing significant. The aliens scare the cows into running away, as before. Basically, up to here the episode is identical to the final version.
Then the differences start. In school, Mr. Garrison and Mr. Hat give the hopelessly inaccurate lesson on Columbus while Kyle agonizes over Ike's abduction, finally asking Mr. Garrison if he can leave early. Mr. Garrison asks Kyle to direct the question to Mr. Hat, who not only tells him no but calls him a turd in the bargain. He refuses to say anything on the subject of Columbus' uterus, and Mr. Garrison blames Kyle. Kyle growls "F**k Mr. Hat," to which Mr. hat replies "No no no - f*** you." The class sits in silent shock.
The cows, meanwhile, try to get on the Denver train but then Officer Barbrady shows up and they run away again. Meanwhile, in the cafeteria the scene where Pip asks the boys what's on the menu appears here instead, complete with Cartman growling "French people piss me off." The scene where Stan and Wendy's eyes meet is untouched, but she doesn't give him the note until after lunch, on the playground. Instead, the go directly to Chef, and after his song they tell him what happened to Ike. To get the kids out of school, Chef gives them each an extra hot tamale to give them a fever, which will make the nurse send them home.
Out on the playground, they watch Pip slide down the slide and crack his head open on the swing set before three fifth graders come up and make Cartman eat all of the tamales. This is what causes his flaming gas, not the anal probe. Stan, Kyle, and Kenny take him to the nurse, who is busy seeing to Pip's huge bleeding. She starts to take his temperature but Cartman flashes back to getting the anal probe and bites the thermometer in fright. The nurse threatens the kids with an office referral, but the flaming flatulence resurfaces (much to the nurse's shock) and she sends them home.
The episode then proceeds pretty much as the final version - Cartman sings "I love to singa," Kenny dies, Cartman goes home and sets the cat on fire with his flaming gas, Stan and Kyle meet Wendy at Stark's Pond and together they decide to use Cartman to lure the aliens back.
Then things change again. Cartman is tied to the tree and refuses to fart to signal the aliens, protesting that it's suppertime and his mom is probably worried sick. We then see the entire Cartman family - originally, Cartman's dad was still around and he also had a sister. Their dining room looks a lot like Stan's and Kenny's, and there is a family picture in front of Mt. Rushmore on the wall. Mrs. Cartman suddenly realizes something is missing - the gravy. As she goes to get it the blackened cat jumps on the table.
Back in the forest, Cartman demands to be untied, but then Chef shows up in his car. Kyle is a little distressed that the aliens aren't coming back. Chef starts singing again, but then Stan gets his attention and he shouts to signal the aliens (despite being shushed by Cartman). It works - the aliens come over the hill behind Cartman while he's ranting about things going in and coming out of his ass being immature. Chef flees in his car.
The aliens try to take Cartman aboard but he is tied down. Mr. Garrison drives by, says his line, and leaves. Kyle and the aliens have their first sentimental then angry confrontation, and finally Ike jumps out of the spaceship when Kyle promises he won't play "kick the baby." No mention of David Caruso (or Tom Selleck for that matter - the news broadcast doesn't feature in this version). Cartman farts a fireball that burns through the rope, and he is taken away. Kyle takes Ike home, while Stan and Wendy almost kiss before Stan throws up.
The next day, Stan and Kyle are at the bus stop, commenting "We're running out of friends!" Then, one of them resurfaces - the view zooms out to show Kenny, alive and well, standing on Stan's right (our left). (I'm sure this will be the only episode where Kenny comes back to life this obviously and stays alive until the end of the episode.) Barbrady shows up and denies that anything unusual happened in South Park, and laughs when the kids suggest that the town was visited by aliens the previous night. He asks if they've seen the cattle. They ask if he's asked "those people over there" - indicating the aliens, who have turned the entire herd into hamburgers which they are busy grilling. Barbrady says they didn't know anything, then he drives off.
Ike hops up to the kids again, much to Kyle's frustration. He proceeds to kick Ike through the Cartman's window, startling Cartman's mom. Cartman himself then falls from the sky - no pinkeye. Stan comments "What a grand adventure this has been!" and Pip appears in the foreground to follow this up with "God bless us every one" (a la A Christmas Carol). Cartman mutters "God damn, as soon as I can walk again I'm gonna kick that kid's ASS."
Other differences: some of the voices sound different, particularly Mrs. Cartman. The background music is very reminiscent of old Charlie Brown specials - in fact, so is the animation at times, especially the playground scene.
Kain forgot to mention that the opening theme song by Primus is a slower version and the visuals are different as well in the opening of the unaired version of Cartman Gets An Anal Probe.
