I don't know. I don't think that it will be any of the characters we know of so far. He might be in that room, but I don't think that it would've been any of the guys mentioned in the cliffhanger.

It'll probably end up being one of the Broncos, but not Elway. It's not going to be a regular character, other than Kevin of course, since that'll cause either a) constant tension between Cartman and his father or b) we'll have to try and forget it happened. It's one thing to forget that Kenny died, but to know that Cartman's father is say, Chef, and then to have Chef and Cartman act completely indifferent to each other next week would be a bit much to swallow. Then again, that's more or less the way I am with my dad, so I guess it's not impossible...
Someday, years from now, Trey & Co. will find that demand for SP far exceeds their ability to produce it. Animation duties will be farmed out to Asia, like the Simpons. Original ideas for humor on the show will begin to wane, as the creators set their sights on new endevours (i.e. "Cannibal:The Series").
Then one day, two networks will try to envoke interest in two of their failing media cash cows, SP and the Simpsons. These two shows, once considered cutting edge, will be failing critically and doing terrible in the ratings. The networks will then commission a show that the creators of these once proud shows would have never allowed.... a crossover between SP and the Simpsons.
Then, and only then, will we learn that Cartman's father was a cop who arrested the Crank Whore covergirl, only to release her after a night of donuts, cocaine and wanton sex. Yes, my little crackers....Cartman's dad is.....
*Trey and Matt LOVE holiday episodes (Thanksgiving, Xmas, Valentines, Halloween--all in the first season)...
*When's the resolution episode supposed to air? APRIL 1st?
C'mon. We're all being set up for an April Fools' joke. Someone's probably dreaming the whole thing up, or they'll say "Hey, it's Kevin the Monkey Boy...ha, ha, April fools...it's CHEF! No, wait...it's Barbrady", etc, etc. We have as much chance of finding out who Cartman's father is as we have of finding out what Kenny looks like under his hood.
Not that it makes a difference. It really was one of the funniest episodes of the season. Best Kenny death to date (ahh, the American Silver Slicer, on time again), following the WORST Kenny death to date (that dumb afterthought tetherball thing in Mecha Streisand...pathetic). "Oh my God...they videotaped killing Kenny!" Best Chef song so far, too: "you wait, and you wait, and you wait and she's still going to the bathroom..." An instant classic.
Heheh....Maybe Cartman's dad is one of those Starvin Ethernopians......hehe...not nescessarly Starvin Marvin himself, but one of his family members....after all, Cartman's mom treated Starvin Marvin just like Cartman (She gave him cheesy poofs....and she DID let him keep stay at their house.......)
Let's see, how many sick and twisted people can we come up with to be Cartman's dad:
*Kenny? Um... I think that's biologically impossible, unless Kenny's a lot older than the rest of the boys. *Early multi-assed genetic mutant? *Kathie Lee Gifford? *President of Cartoon Central (What has he been up to lately?) *Scuzzlebutt? *Elton John?
Just some thoughts. Totally meaningless and harmless. Don't take me too seriously, please.
What about the Scientist Dude. They are both "not fat", both have round heads with double chins. they sort of look like each other. I really don't think it is some one who is a regular on the show. That would suck. Maybe John Stamos's Bro.
that would make sense of the scientist wasn't the one who offered to do the genetic testing, unless of course he IS the father, and is covering up with falsified test results. But why ask 3 grand for the test, if he wanted to cover it up
I'm going with Kevin-remember when Chef asked the genetic engineer about him in Starvin' Marvin? The engineer said "That's not important right now." Besides, it makes sense-of everyone in that room, who was the LEAST likely choice? Of course, I have a strange feeling, there's no clear cut answer to this cliffhanger. As they say in wrestling, I think we're all being worked.
Thanks to a suggestion by a friend of my girlfriend's, I'm convinced that Cartman's dad is going to be John Elway. He's been on the Broncos since 1983, and he's number 7 -- notice how #7 is front-and-center on EVERY shot of the team? And the beautiful irony of John Elway's son being flabby and out of shape? And the Elway reference in Mecha-Streisand?
nah, it will be something odd like Stan's grandfather or something. After all he did say "your mom was over here fattie, and I humped her like a little bitch." Just an unexplored avenue :)
Uncle Jimbo? No, I doubt Trey Parker and Matt Stone would allow
Cartman being
related to the boys (then again, they may prove me wrong). So Gerald
Bolowski would
be eliminated for that reason too.
Somehow, I don't believe Cartman's dad is going to be an obvious choice like Chef, Officer Barbrady, et al. Remember the "Who Shot Mr. Burns" Cliffhanger on the Simposons a couple of years back? Did anyone honestly expect it to be Maggie? Matt and Trey don't seem to be the types to go for something obvious. I supposed we shall wait and see.
I think that when this story is resolved, Cartman won't find out who his real father is, but there will be a wink-wink sort of conclusion between the father and Mrs. Cartman, so that we will know.
I say Cartman's dad was somebody who wasn't in the room, but somebody who is pretty sneaky and who would have the money to pay the geneticist to fix the results.
