Yeah!!

Everyone who wants to post Southpark binaries may now do so to their heart's content in the new NG. Just point your news reader to:

alt.binaries.southpark

and post away. Please do not post anymore binaries in this group as it is a discussion group and some people would rather not download thousands of lines of UUencoded movie files. We must take it upon ourselves to police the binary traffic in here. No doubt the occasional newbie will still post binaries here. Now we can tell them where to go. And no, Mr. Hat, its not to hell...

For the HTML friendly newsers out there that number is:

alt.* newsgroups take a long time to get propagated, especially alt.fan.*, alt.sex.*, and alt.binaries.* newsgroups.

This one is a bit more easy to prove it is serious, but I would have named the group alt.binaries.multimedia.southpark

What kind of discussion did alt.binaries.southpark get in alt.config? Or was there any proposal? I haven't been keeping up lately.
