OK, I've been a reader of this newsgroup for a while now. I haven't, um, really said much. I think I did that South Park voting thing way back before April Fools Day. So, why did I decide to start posting? I have no idea. I guess it just seemed pointless, reading and not participating in the discussions and stuff. So I might post here often, or maybe not as often, but I think you might be hearing from me occasionally. Well, just so this message isn't a total loss, I want to put in my $0.2 (original, ain't it?) about Not Without My Anus. (you've kind of gone past that topic I noticed, but we need to talk about something that has to do with South Park, or I will go CRAZY! And when I go crazy, I start to see the FISH! And I have the urge to KILL!) Feel free to comment, but any negative opinions can be directed to that brick wall over there (also very original). First of all, one day I started thinking: Why were so many people so pissed off? In reality, would you give a damn who some fat bastard in a piss-ant white bred mountain town's father was? No, right? So why do you care now? Not to mention that everyone knew Cartman was a bastard before the Cliffhanger, so why did everyone want to know who his dad is all of a sudden? ( I have too many thoughts, and too many of them are about South Park. I write fanfiction in my head at night.) It shows that Trey and Matt have created characters we give a rat's ass about (they also did very nice on the suspense part). The strong reaction to NWOMA showed that Parker & Stone gave the characters so much life that we want to know about everything about them...well, within limits (damn, I'm going to get flamed to Hell for that one, but I don't know any other way to put it, I think you'll figure out what I mean). I don't think many people are able to do that. Now my opinion on the actual episode: Not bad. Not bad at all. You see, the first time I saw NWOMA, it turned out like this:

9:00: Getting jittery, hoping in the back of my head that it's not an April Fools joke, but knowing that it most likely is, thinking that it is so amazingly cool my fav. radio station is having South Park night in honor of the Cliffhanger conclusion. 10:00: It starts, I sit down to watch, almost driven insane by the question attacking my mind: Who..is..Cartman's...father?! 10:01: 'April Fools' Say it ain't so... 5 seconds later: WHAT?! Terrance and PHILLIP?! How DARE they?! 10 minutes later: Mouth stops hanging open, I actually watch. "Hey, not bad!"

You get the picture. When you know it's coming, sit down, and watch it, it's actually pretty hilarious. I ACTUALLY watched it more than once this Monday (my friend taped it). The randomness of it all, Saddam Hussein (hey, relax, guy!), Celine Dione (I enjoy, for some reason, pronouncing her last name 'dee-oh-nee'), and the Canadian National Anthem (which gets stuck in one's head rather quickly but is a cool song so I don't care), all added up to a great episode. Not the best (Death, Pink Eye), but not the worst (that would be Volcano, or possibly Cartman Gets An Anal Probe, it all depends on your sense of humor. I'm judging by how hard I laughed). For example, take a look at one of the lines at the beginning: "My client Terrance is no more a murderer than you or I. He loves puppies, and hates *mean* things. Would a murderer go to the zoo and feed animals like this?" So utterly stupid that it's hilarious. Actually, that was the humor of the whole episode. So ridiculous it's funny. "I'm going to put on a pirate costume!" The 'Cartman's Dad' advertisment was not just the joke, the whole episode was. You know, I've learned something today (oh so original, ain't it? And did you notice how I love inserting comments in parenthisis?). I've learned that you don't judge something at the first glance, and you don't take out your anger on something and label it 'stupid', because that 'stupid' thing might turn out being pretty cool. Cartman would like to insert a comment here (What? Didn't I mention that he was one of my close, personal friends?): Yes, and ah've learned something, too. Don't hope for something on April Fool's Day. Ahll those NWOMA bashers piss me off! Thank you for listening to my idiotic ramblings, fellow Parkies. May the Cheezy Poofs be with you.

So I left out a 0, sue me.

$0.02, happy now? But that WAS funny.

And for whoever asked that question about (or should I say 'aboot') Cartman's Mom and smoking crack, no. I don't. Maybe you do, but I don't (note how I don't bother to check gender, hehe).

I would sue, but now all you have is 18 cents left! My lawyers would take 50% of that!

Yer safe for now! : ) LM

You think you can steal all my money, but I've come up with the perfect 'get rick quick' plan, and then I'll have a lot more than $0.20. <displays a stick with the words 'East Park' on it, then a piece of paper with a stick figure on it> See, this is Lenny. <flushes the paper down the toilet> This is Lenny dead. Oh my God, they killed Lenny! You monkey! <holds up a t-shirt with Lenny getting flushed down the toilet on it> I have merchandise, too! Now all I have to do is sell my idea to a crappy channel looking for a big hit to make it famous, and the money'll start rolling in! (Yes, something very similar to this WAS a skit somewhere, but who cares how original I am?)
