Roddy Piper memorialized in tonight's episode of "South Park"

Tonight's episode of "South Park" did a tribute to that infamous fight scene in "They Live" with two handicapped boys fighting it out nearly blow-for-blow, including a backbreaker, suplex, and headlock that occur in the fight. I guess Matt & Trek are John Carpenter fans, go figure...but rightly so since that IS one kick-ass film. Definitely better than "Hell Comes To Frogtown."

That movie is one of my top ten favorites. It works on so many levels.

Thanks. I always thought that Piper was good in 'They Live' - good enough to have been given more parts back then.

This explains it. He's was kinda 'blacklisted' in Hollyweird! That sucks.

I have to admit, the first time I saw that movie, I wanted a pair of those glasses! Piper definitely made them look good.

Certainly one of the best fight scenes of all time. They got it perfect, right down to the "motherfucker" after a cheap shot.

The only thing missing was the broken car window.

I don't believe I ever *said* they were handicapped in "They Live." But if you watch the scene, and you watch that South Park episode, there is no mistaking the tribute to Carpenter's film.

Next time please remove your foot from your mouth before you speak.

That's just it --- Timmy and Jimmy roll off the car hood, but there was no broken car window. There should have been. Maybe it was made for the episode but cut for time.
