I don't get it. Does the name Garrison have something to do with the JFK assassination? Did you ever notice that the word 'assassination' begins with the word 'ass' not once, but twice?

Is this stuff about the police officer telling Garrison to go to the historically obvious place to do an assasination (the book depository...the book depository...depositorydepository) just a reference to the JFK assasination, or is there something more I'm missing?
