First of all, since when did the Catholic Church become the only Christian denomination in the world? Why didn't the South Parkers become Methodist or Baptist or Presbyterian or Snake Handlers?

And I'm surprised (in South Park AND the real world) that the Protestants haven't tried to spin recent Catholic scandals to their own advantage.

And besides, where in the Bible does it say priests have to be celibate (which is the reason they don't get married in the first place)? I know Paul said that he preferred the single life as less distracting to his ministry, but he said in the same discourse, "It is better to marry than to burn."

Of course, defending Christianity on alt.tv.southpark is like selling hot dogs at a PETA rally.

Christianity is one of the only legitimate religions as far as i am concerned. The reason you can find nothing about Fathers being celibate is because there is nothing in there about it. It is another of the Catholic Churches made up rules, like communal wafers that you MUST eat, wine that you MUST drink, and having to talk to nuns and fathers to get to god, which the Bible clearly states you cannot do.

The bible says that the only ppl that claim they are in direct contact and can hear God are prophets, so unless all these homosexual pedophiles are all prophets, thier entire religion is based upon BULLCRAP.

Besides, you do know how the Roman Catholic church was started, right? One of the Ceasars mixed church and government for the betterment of his ppl... Something that the Bible says not to do.

*Shrugs* but you cant really fight them... they are for the most part as bad a cult as mormons etc.
