In the episode when Kyle finds out that Ike was adopted and not his real brother, he acted like it was a huge surprise. Since Kyle is eight and Ike, still an infant, couldn't be more than a year old, two tops, how did Kyles parents sneak Ike in on him? He had to figure that his mom wasn't pregnant and Ike just 'appeared' from nowhere unless he was at Jewbilee when Ike was brought home.

Ike is two. Good question, though. Maybe Gerald and Sheila adopted him behind Kyle's back and didn't tell him he was adopted.
Sheila: Here ya go, boobaloo. Say hello to your new baby brother. Kyle: What? Since when do I have a baby brother? Sheila: Well, it's news to us too, booby. The...stork, yeah, the stork just brought him by today. Kyle: Oh.
