Title is tentative. Aaaand, yes, I do believe this is another serious Kenny fic! This one is REALLY dark and angsty, though. Oh, and for this one, ignore the fact that in the Chickenlover ep, Kenny was watching too...

Fight Summary: Kenny's thoughts on what he wants... and can't have. - Screaming in the next room. I've heard it before. I know what's going on. Dad's gone out and gotten drunk again, no doubt spending all the money we somehow managed to earn on it... he and Mom are yelling at each other, Mom screaming at him that he needs to stop drinking, get help, get over it... him shouting back at her, calling her a dirty bitch and telling her to shut her fucking mouth. Kevin's in there, watching them and laughing. How he gets amusement from that, I'll never know. I'm scared to death. Scared that maybe he'll really hurt Mom, or Kevin, or even me... I know he could kill me. I'm just a little kid who's short for his age and a little frail. I'm the weakling in the family. That was definitely a bottle breaking against the wall. I squeeze my eyes shut. The cheap wallpaper in the house is all torn and alcohol-stained from when Mom and Dad fight, and Dad throws the bottle of whatever Godawful stuff he's drinking that night at her... he always misses, too drunk to aim... I hope he never actually hits Mom. I'm curled up in a corner in the room, my hood pulled tightly shut, holding myself tightly to give the comfort I can't get, wishing it'd all just end. I wish I could have a normal family, like Stan's... he complains when his mom tries to tell him normal things... like to stop swearing, or look both ways, or something... but damn it, she's just looking out for him, she's being the normal mom he's fucking lucky to have... any family, even Kyle's or Cartman's, I'd rather have, than this one, with the alcoholic father who's driven us to poverty, the mother stretched thin, almost to breaking, and the brother who keeps laughing when they're trying to kill each other... I don't want this. Even if the only escape is death... I want to get away. I want someone to hold me and make it all better, I want Dad to stop drinking, and Kevin to stop with the goddamned laughing... Mom's crying now, and I can hear that the fight's gotten physical. She'll win. She always wins. He's too drunk to fight. But he could hurt her, and I'm always afraid of that. He has no sense of reason in this state, and dammit, he's hardly ever sober... he's always fucking drinking, and sometimes he doesn't come home at night because he's passed out at the bar... and... he's always fighting... and... I can't stop crying now. I want this to end. I want this to fucking end. I want a normal life, with a normal family. But I can't have that. - end
