What? A day later and still no discussion of the new episode, "Fun With Veal"? Did the episode suck that bad, or did all the South Park talk go elsewhere?

I feared it was going to suck -- an episode about veal just didn't sound very funny -- but I liked it. It seemed like the old-school SP somehow, season 2 or 3 maybe. (Without Kenny, of course, but I don't miss him the way some people do.)

Did you ever see the intros to some of the VHS/DVD episodes where Matt and Trey played TV chefs? They had a show called "Makin' Bacon with Macon." Macon was an actual live pig, and they frequently fed him pieces of bacon.

The veal calfs however were just so cuddly cute looking though, that I wanted something really, really terrible to happen to at least one of them, and the show let me down, similar to the time that the phonics monkey didn't have its brains bashed in. Never seen any of them actually eat the dog's sperm. Isn't your imagination just getting a little carried away?
Society does seem to have a double standard towards animal cruelty based on the cuteness of the animal's appearance. Note how people get more worked up about seal pups getting clubbed than about how veal is produced.

I've been to a veal farm. They don't look like that, or at least the one I went to didn't. Each calf is kept in its own very narrow stall, not just in a group like that. Also, it's dark. Smelly too, of course.
