Comments on the latest ad for the CD... I mean "episode"

You know, I'd like to say "Chef Aid" was bad, but hollow seems like a much more apt description.

Um, okay. I think someone forgot to add the all-important *humor* to this episode. For an intelligent show that happens to have a lot of fart jokes, this is just an atrocity. "Stinky Britches"? I'm sure I have a six-year old neighbor who could have come up with the same joke and saved me a half-hour of my life.

What's worse, though, is the blatant way they use the episode to advertise the forthcoming CD, which, BTW, seems to have little or nothing to do with the actual show. Elton John? ELTON JOHN?!? If Elton John appears on your show, you have officially sold out. Sorry, guys, you're cogs in the Hollywood machine now. Your souls will be collected at the end of the month.

Anyway, if you haven't seen this episode yet, I would strongly advise against it. It's not funny in any way and really serves no purpose except to advertise the CD.

What's that you say? "What about the Mr. Hat thing?!?" Yeah. So? Pointless, and also unfunny. For those who haven't seen it, Mr. Hat comes back and attempts to kill Mr. Twig. Oh yeah, Chef's name is Jerome "Chef" McElroy. Now you don't need to watch the show.

Funniest episode i've seen in a long time.. Sorry to break it to ya!

I also happen to think that "Chef Aid" is the best episode they've done. And I thought it was definitely NOT a big 22-minute ad for the CD. If it was, they should have had a lot more of the songs featured in the episode. The songs were a very minor part of the whole episode.

But the original poster is free to disagree with me. I'm just glad his post is an intelligent post and not a lame trolling tirade.

Beyond a doubt, the funniest episode in a long time. I'm still trying to figure out how Elton John makes you a sell out though. I happen to enjoy his music, and think it was funny how he was used in this episode.
