Apparently Matt and Trey are now sticking in a Star Trek reference per episode just to do so, since they're starting to kinda come out of left field.

I.E Tonight's David Soul appearance from 'The Apple'.

There was another ST reference in "John Edwards' a DOUCHE". There was an alien in the audience where he was black on one side and white on the other during the "Universal DOuche Awards".
