Am I the only one geezerly enough to know what "Romper-Stomper" means, or did anyone else get the joke?

Well, actually, Romper Stomper could be either a reference to Ding Dong School or to a Russell Crowe movie about skinheads. Either one would fit, I think.

And did you catch the "Cry Baby" Johnny Depp-like tear on RS's cheek? Very cute.

No, think "Romper Room". A super-cheesy kiddie show of the 60's/early 70's. Part of the show had the hostess leading her troope of sproglings on a march around the studio set, while walking on those stupid things (of all the TV merchandising things, they could'nt think uyp anything more creative than a couple of plastic cups and string). Imagine a toddler show that makes Teletubbies look like Masterpiece Theater.

That's a typical prison tattoo design. Like having "LOVE" or "HATE" on the knuckles, or "Jamal's Bitch!" on the forehead.

Common prison tat, supposed to indicate that you've killed someone. The thing I noticed most about it was that when Cartman was crying, the tear was gone. It was back in the next scene, but definately gone for about 30 seconds.

Am I the only one who remembers that Romper Stomper is the name for the things he was walking around on? I had Romper Stompers when I was a kid. You stand on these upside down plastic flower pot things that have a string through them. Y ou pull up on the strings so that you can walk around on them. Kind of like really cheap, crappy stilts. Although is was fun to stagger around like Frankenstein.

That's what I was thinking the reference was to. I kept thinking Moon Shoes however. LOL

You're probably too young to remember them (no offense intended). They were big in the 70's. I'd totally forgotten about them til I saw them on SP the other night. Matt and Trey are about the right age to have owned them.

I should have known better then to assume you were too young to know. My father (age 57) loves South Park nearly as much as I do. If I make the mistake of calling him while it's on he'll say "can't talk, watching south park" and hang up on me :-)
